AI Transparency Statement
Legal Consideration is proud that all course materials are created, researched, scripted, hosted, edited, and produced 100% by real human lawyers and subject matter experts. The market is oversaturated with “close but not quite” AI-generated educational materials, at the expense of higher-quality human-created work; our company’s philosophy is that we have an obligation (i) to preserve real human voices, personalities, experiences, and expertise, (ii) to minimize any use of AI in our products and services, and (iii) to be transparent with our students and customers in the instances that AI has been used. We believe that the human touch makes all the difference, and you can trust that all substantive materials are the product of real human effort, experience, and ingenuity.
With that said, we want to be transparent and disclose that, due to the cost constraints attendant to operating a new business, AI has been used in connection with certain course design and marketing elements, as follows:
- Some “cartoon” background images were constructed by Adobe Firefly image generation services, rather than real human artists.
- Much of our “B-roll” footage (stock footage) was constructed by Kaiber AI video generation services and features computer-generated representations of humans.
- ChatGPT was occasionally consulted for non-substantive design questions and requests (e.g., “please provide a list of emojis relating to business and finance,” or “please generate a simple logo for a fictional cookware company”). In most instances, these elements were incorporated into the course materials only after additional human modifications.
- Teachable AI services were used solely to construct complimentary lesson or course summaries, which are not part of official course materials; they are offered for the convenience of prospective students.
As our company continues to grow, we look forward to exploring cost-effective options that will allow us to further center the human touch in design elements as well. If you have specific questions about the use of AI in any of the course materials, please feel free to reach out through our contact form.
